The Regional School for Hotel and Restaurant Management from Serramazzoni Look Forward to the Future

Ready to launch the next FDA (Formazione a Distanza, or Distance Learning Education) program.

The Regional School for Hotel and Restaurant Management from Serramazzoni continues its activities throughout the summer.

As a member of IAL (Istituto di Avviamento al Lavoro, or "Work Training Institute"), in June the Serramazzoni school hosted a delegation from a Mölndalm, Sweden high school specializing in hotel and restaurant management. The two schools agreed upon an exchange program that involves both students and teachers. In addition, in beginning of July the Serramazzoni School participated in the Eurhodip Annual Conference in Namur, Belgium. This year theme was "Quality in Professional Education and in the Workplace". 

Finally, the staff lead by Director Giuseppe Schipano, completed the curriculum for the next Fall/Winter FAD (Formazione a Distanza, or Distance Learning Education) program. These courses provide the flexibility needed by students who have difficulties, or cannot leave their location and/or workplace. At the same time, the system provides high quality training material, the availability of a supporting tutor along with self-teaching and self-testing methods.  

The FAD courses fro the next season include:

1. Tradition and Creativity in Preparing Primi Piatti ("First Courses", or pasta and soup recipes)
2. Flavors and Colors in Preparing Secondi Piatti ("Second Courses", or main course recipes)
3. At the Table with Style
4. Hotel Reception.
