WineCountry.it Gold Medal

Welcome to Volume 1, Number 3 of Wine News, the e-letter from the WineCountry.IT network.

We are glad to announce that our two new web sites dedicated to producers, exporters and importers, brokers and distributors, lovers and collectors of Italian wine, which launched October 15, met with immediate praise of trade professionals worldwide.

The sites are the ideal online meeting place for all enterprises and individuals buying or selling Italian wines. The database of Italian Wine Hub (for English speaking merchants) and of the Club of Italian Wine (for Italian speaking merchants) are available to all professionals for listing or for seeking commercial contacts. Our editors take special care translating all the information provided, so that all companies are listed in both English and Italian.

As usual, Wine News provides you with interesting articles that affect the Italian enogastronomical world. The articles come from Italy, Europe, the United States and the rest of the world. We remind all professionals who deal with food and beverages to be imported into the U.S., that the Bio Terror Act, a new law that drastically changes the rules regulating imports and distribution of food and beverages in the United States, becomes effective on December 12, 2003.

The association Le Vigne del Lazio (Latium Vineyards), established in Rome in 1999 to promote the knowledge and image of quality wines produced in the region, is the Company of the Month for November 2003.

Happy reading!
