We want to dedicate this issue of our eLetter, which we have pushed up a couple of weeks from the usual deadline, to the survivors of the Japanese earthquake, the unaccounted for, and the deceased.
We have decided to offer a special sale of some of our prize winning wines, pricing them at 10% below their full price, and at the same time, to donate 15% of the revenues to the World Vision Japan Quake and Tsunami Relief. Alternatively, you may choose to donate your 10% discount to the fund as well, by choosing this option.
Please note that this promotion is valid in the US only, for residents 21 years of age or older of the following states where we can ship to consumers from California: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming. If you are not a resident of the above states or of the US, you can still participate by purchasing wines from friends and family who may live there.
Twenty cases each of the following wines types are available with this offer: Monferrato DOC Infinito (Starwine International Wine Competition, Philadelphia, PA; Bronze Medal at the National Women Wine Competition, Santa Rosa, CA), Merlot Caliscana 2004 (Gold Medal at the US Professional Wine Buyer's Competition, and Bronze Medal at the National Women Wine Competition, Santa Rosa, CA), Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Jennos (Silver Medal at the National Women Wine Competition, Santa Rosa, CA), SuperTuscan Occhini IGT Toscana (Bronze Medal at the National Women Wine Competition, Santa Rosa, CA), and Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Sito Romano (Silver Medal at the National Women Wine Competition, Santa Rosa, CA).
