WineCountry.it Gold Medal

Welcome to Volume 2, Number 1 of Wine News, the e-letter from the WineCountry.IT network.

We are happy to announce that we are kicking off 2004 with the launch of two new web sites dedicated to wine label collectors in particular and Italian wine lovers in general.

The sites are ItalianWineLabels.com, in English, and its Italian equivalent, ABCVino.com. They are meant to support WineCountry.IT, VinoItalianoClub.com and ItalianWineHub.com, in order to extend the variety of information provided by the network and, at the same time, introduce Italian wines with images by means of wine labels. In fact, in addition to highlighting the artistic value of the wine labels, each of them comes with wine description and denomination, producer's contacts and data and, when available, the importer data.

We have another important announcment as well. Starting this month, WineCountry.IT News will be enriched by the column "Tips from the Scuola Regionale di Ristorazione di Serramazzoni (Serramazzoni Regional School of Restorants)", a monthly space dedicated to enogastronomy maintained by the school. Each month will feature an interview with a chef, a maitre d', or the director of the school. The subject of the first interview is "Typical Products", as in Italian regional specialty products.

Back to our regular Wine News e-letter, below please find the new articles from Italy, Europe, the United States and the rest of the world that affect the Italian enogastronomical world. The articles are published on WineCountry.IT, Italian Wine Hub, and the new Italian Wine Labels.

The staff of WineCountry.IT network wishes all our readers a Happy New Year!

Happy reading!
