Already over 200 exhibitors have signed up for the show that will expand over 9,000 square meters (about 96,875 square feet).
"Finally our country is presenting a truly international wine and food event which, right from its first year is having incredible success with the exhibitors," saidn the director, Davide Maffei, with satisfactio. "Producers from Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Germany and other exotic countries will be the protagonists of these three days dedicated to the pleasure of the senses. Presentations, conferences, VIP guests, chefs, international sommeliers and many other surprises will enliven the event."
The trade show is supported by the Lugano municipality of Lugano, the Lugano Tourist organization, and the Hôtellerie Suisse. The event completes the not-to-be-missed program of the autunno ticinese (Ticino Fall), in addition, being close to the holiday season will offer the opportunity to re-discover the traditions, wonders, and news of an ever changing enogastronomic world.
The event is open to wine and food professionals and to the general public as well. Lugano is located in the Italian-speaking Swiss Canton and is easily reachable from the Italian border.
