An Important Meeting for Italian Wine Operators
L'ICE (Institute for Foreign Commerce), partnered with Veronafiere – Vinitaly and the Associazione Enologi e Enotecnici Italiani (Association of Enologists and Enotechnician) to organize the sixteenth Seminario Renato Ratti (Renato Ratti Seminary). In addition to being an analytical tool of possible future enological scenarios, the Seminario Ratti provides instrumental information to sector enterprises that work actively to create a competitive 'made in Italy' global wine brand.
Seminario Ratti is an event dedicated to the industry press, the responsible for the promotion of Territorial Organizations and Consortiums, and
Italian wine makers interested in exporting their product. Focus
of this year meeting is the US market and its new federal laws on use and distribution of alcoholic beverages. No entry free.

- Preview of 2003 grape harvest, introduced by the General Director of Assoenologi
- International market trends and possible new scenarios, presented by ICE's Linea Vini (Wine Line) manager
- Presentation of Vinitaly 2004 program by president of the Ente Fiere di Verona
- Analyses of the US market, the driving force behind Italian Wine export.
(A special presentation of the new US law regarding alcohol consumption and distribution will be introduced by a Food & Drug Administration representative.
