The inaugural Ultimate Wine Challenge takes place June 7-11 at state-of-the-art Astor Center in New York City and is revolutionary in scope. All wines entered will be judged using the 100-point system and presented in flights by type, region, varietal and price, at proper temperatures and served in glassware that is most appropriate to its specific classification. Advisors to UWC include Doug Frost, Master Sommelier and Master of Wine; Jennifer Simonetti-Bryan, Master of Wine; and Charles Thomas Curtis, Master of Wine.
In addition to Judging Chairman, F. Paul Pacult, and Assistant Judging Chairman, Sean Ludford, judges for Ultimate Wine Challenge are a who's who of the foremost wine authorities, journalists, and educators, such as Mary Ewing-Mulligan, Master of Wine; Jennifer Simonetti-Bryan, Master of Wine; Ed McCarthy; Steve Olson; Laura Maniec, Master Sommelier; Michael Apstein and more.

If you are an overseas producer with no US importer you may enter your products as a way to gain national recognition within the US and to possibly gain an importer's or the media's notice. Please see our entry form for no US-importer.
The results of the challenge will be widely publicized, both in print and on-line. In addition, the highest-rated products will be showcased at the Ultimate Wine Consumer and Media Tasting event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square, New York City on October 4, 2010.
