Day 20, Friday, March 5
Our amazing friends, Gastone and Rita, come to pick us up at 4:45 in the morning and drive us to the Guglielmo Marconi airport in Bologna, but not before Rita finds the time to present Brigit with two gorgeous necklaces.

We check in then board a flight to Paris and the connection to San Francisco, where we land at around 1PM local time (10PM Italian time).
Teo
When we arrive home, kitty Teo, who stayed at home all the time with our new friend and kitty sitter, Cristina, runs to greet us as if he had missed us as much as we had missed him. As much as we enjoy traveling, it's good to be back home.
