At 9:30 we board the bus provided by Fiera di Rimini to transfer the invited buyers from the two hotels by the beach where we are all lodged, to the trade show center.
After an espresso coffee shot for me and a latte with double coffee plus pastry for Brigit, we sit at the table assigned to us for the one-to-one meetings where, at 11 on the dot, we start meeting producers and tasting wines. Apart from a break for lunch at half past twelve, the meetings and tasting continue uninterrupted until 5PM.

Dott. Anastasia Mancini of Azienda Agricola Buccia Nera
At 5:20, our chaperon, a young woman by the name of Chiara, herds all the buyers together and accompanies us to the bus which she rides with us back to the beach hotels in Viale Regina Margherita, where she bids us good evening and gives us our appointment for the following morning.

Mauro Bompani of Azienda Agricola Garuti with WineCountry.IT's Brigit Solé-March
Tired by the long day, we freshen up and head out for an early dinner to the nearby Ristorante Pizzeria Gatto Nero (Black Cat Restaurant and Pizzeria). As a starter they serve us the tasty focaccia calda similar to the one we had the evening before at Carlos, which we eat with a huge Insalata Mediterranea (Mediterranean Salad), consisting of lettuce, red radicchio, tomatoes, beans and small shrimps. Brigit orders Strozzapreti alla Pescatora (Priest Strangler Pasta, Fisherman Style) while I get a Pizza Mediterranea (Mediterranean Pizza), which we wash down with a bottle of Bianchello del Metauro, a white wine produced in the neighboring Marches region.
