Art In A Bottle

 Artwine, a Florence, Italy art enoteca (wine bar), has created a series of wines with four splendid labels that celebrate the exceptional art patrimony of the Tuscan capital and are perfect for gifts.
In collaboration with the Florence Art and Culture Ministry, Artwine has created four labels reproducing as many world famous classic masterpieces associated internationally with Florence and Tuscany. They are:
- Nascita di Venere (The Birth od Venus), by Sandro Filipepi, better known as Botticelli
- Bacco (Bacchus), by Michelangelo Merisii, better known as Caravaggio
- David, by Michelangelo Buonarroti
- Perseo (Perseus), by Benvenuto Cellini
The bottles have been for sale in and around Florence for a few months now. According to Artwine, they are an original and elegant gift, illustrating the strong synergy between the worlds of wine and art.
The wine is quality Toscano IGT, made from Sangiovese grapes, crushed and bottled for Artwine by Azienda Vinicola (Wine Farm) 'Le Coste' of Giuliano Grati, located in in Rufina, in the heart of the Chianti wine region, near Florence.
