Oro Giallo: A Trade Show Dedicated to Extra Virgin Olive Oil

In just three years the trade show entitled Oro Giallo (Yellow Gold), organized at Mia Fiera (My Trade Fair) in Rimini, Italy, has become one of the most authoritative fairs dedicated to the international production of extra virgin olive oil. In addition to hosting the best olive oil producers in the world and walking visitors through guided tastings and product analyses, Oro Giallo presents the current state of industry and new advances in technology to professional buyers and merchants.
This fourth event, in assigning the Oro Giallo 2008 Awards, the organizer will highlight the quality of the competing products more than ever.
Four days of full immersion in the olive oil culture
The program includes a series of collateral events dedicated to upscale gastronomy, with the participation of internationally renowned chefs at the presence of important TV networks. Guided tasting, meeting, conferences, business meetings with Italian and foreign buyers, presentation of oil charts and sensorial analysis will complete the trade show offering. In addition, Rimini Fiera is committed to bringing in 30 international high volume buyers specializing in the olive oil sector.

Oil Bar at Oro Giallo
Many producers from both Italy and overseas asked for the opportunity of participating in the show with a format which does not require the physical presence of employees of the exhibitors at the event.
Thanks to the creative collaboration of Marco Oreggia and the availability of the Mia Fiera management, starting this year it will be possible to participate in the Oil Bar set up within the trade show, which guarantees excellent exposure of the product. To participate, producers must send six bottles of their product and pay a €300 fee, plus taxes.
This truly small amount guarantees the following:
- A suitable presence at the 2008 show, introducing the products in the hope that the next year the estate will participate with its own booth.
- Opportunity of having the estate products tasted by international experts.
- Publication of the estate contacts in the trade show catalog.
