"We have the best products and a network of 117 restaurants as well as 11 retail outlets," added Saitta.
During the Winter Olympics the products will be available for tasting inside and outside the competition sites, both in the city of Turin and in surrounding mountain towns.
"The Olympics will help us give a justified level of fame to our wine and gastronomic specialties, creating the conditions for economic returns," concluded Saitta.
'Le Ricette del Paniere' is a cookbook that will be on sale during the Games and features recipes from the chefs of 107 local restaurants, who explain how to prepare Piedmont cuisine's best dishes using the regional specialty products.
