According to the Wine Spectator magazine, the Boca Bacchanal Food & Wine Weekend, celebrating this year the 8th annual, is among the top winefest in the US. The event and auction benefits the Heritage Education and Historic Preservation programs of the Boca Raton Historical Society.

The three-day affair will feature:
- Friday evening, seven superb vintner dinners, each prepared by a celebrated chef and prized vintner, set in stellar private residences in Boca Raton.
- Saturday night, Bacchanal & Auction at the Boca Raton Resort & Club featuring a wine and spirit reception, a lavish dinner, and the dynamic silent and live auctions. Patrons of the auction will vie for a host of rare wines and lifestyle lots while being feted by some of the country's most accomplished chefs.
- Sunday, alfresco Grand Tasting at the Center for the Arts at Mizner Park Amphitheatre.
